David Wells

David has been performing and teaching dance and theatre since 1983 when he was a dancer in residence at the Melbourne Zoo. He has worked extensively as a performance artist in Australia and overseas with companies including The Urban Dream Capsule and physical theatre company Born in a Taxi. David performed with Neil Thomas in The Blue Thong Club and The Blue Rinse Club, Melbourne International Festival of the Arts 2003 and 2004. In 2006 he performed his solo show The Corridor at Dancehouse to critical acclaim.
David is the Artistic Director of Just Us - a community theatre company based in Melbourne - and he is currently working on a commission from The Melbourne Museum to develop a show about water conservation.
